As the YEAR ENDS

i have learned a lot for this past year.
this post would be a very long one if i will enumerate all of them
so, these are just some of the things i have learned:

  • i learned how to manage my time better
  • i learned HTML
  • i learned how to make flowcharts
  • i learned about the histories of BLOG, Internet and the like
  • i learned that there are many kinds of handicrafts
  • i learned that not all things will be done your way
  • i learned to be more responsible
  • i learned that patience is needed to have good results in projects
  • i have learned how to make orchids (just the artificial ones!)
  • i learned how difficult math is
  • i learned how to make basic programs
  • i learned to cherish my family and friends more
  • i learned to be more expressive
these are just a very small fraction of what i have learned this school year.
hope you have learned lots too...

orchid FRENZY

Our last Practical Arts project was making the orchids. It was really a tedious work to do. Above all, the most difficult thing to to is cutting the cloth with a dull scissors. God, it was tiring! But after seeing the finished product, i was satisfied with my work. It was a great experience to make the orchids. I learned to be more patient. it is by having patience that the result ended up to be great.

The orchids that I made were pink and red in color aside from the leaves. Its flowers are proportionally placed to add its beauty. Its petals are fixed in a kind that makes it almost real. t was neatly done to suit people's taste

the UNFORtUNATE TRUTH

The Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events movie has been one of my favorite ones because i love the story, the twists in it, its characters are one of a kind and i love solving its mysteries. I have been wanting to read its series of books since the first time i have heard of them. As of now, they only made a movie of the first book. I expect and would want movies to be done for the succeeding books. It would be greatly interesting.

In the movie, the part which struck me most was when the Baudelaire orphans were already safely with Uncle Monty. However, a guy named Stephano (Count Olaf) killed their uncle which entirely crushed the children's hopes of having great caretakers.

In the movie, I can mostly relate with Clause Baudelaire because both of us really like to read books. i myself am really interested in them. Like him, I also love solving puzzles, decoding coded messages and the like.

I have learned from the movie that unity is important to succeed in life. I have also learned to cherish my family because any moment, they may be gone forever.

i have butterflies

the first thing i learned in making butterflies is that " Patience is really a virtue" if you will have patience and do your best in something, it will turn out better than you expected it to be.

the artificial butterflies adds beauty wherever you put it. it is long lasting and does not get damaged easily. making artificial butterflies really brings out your creativity and helps you express yourself.

these butterflies are made from durable stockings. they are great to add beauty to your curtains, centerpieces and flower arrangements.

my Familia day

i really enjoyed this year's family day. it started with a motorcade from main campus to Tumaga campus. then a mass was held by Fr. Antonio Moreno. after the mass was where the fun began.

the games was really great to watch especially the tag-of-war part. i remember cheering our team with our made-up cheers. we made such a noise that it actually encouraged our players and they won!! we were the most enthusiastic of the whole group. after the games, we performed a short dance number and ate moments afterwards. after being done with dinner, it was the free part of the night. i joined my other classmates in making "crusades" around the school grounds especially near the field and basketball court. we even played a prank with my classmate wherein we left him without him noticing. my night ended with the wonderful fireworks display (though it was a little short). i wonder what my next family day would be...

my picture FRAME

At first, i felt that making this frame for a project is a little bit tiring considering the fact that i painted and did everything all by myself. however, as i saw the finished product, i felt that my efforts had already been rewarded.

For me, my picture frame is more special than the others found in department store because i made them myself (please dont mind the monkey in the picture). even though its not that nice , i will still cherish it as one of my masterpieces.
